Method One: Clay Animation

Ed Watkins wrote an article on how to make an army of clay Gromit puppets. The purpose of the tutorial is to show a streamlined process for a big production where many puppets are needed. It's a good tutorial with a lot of tips straight from our own video tutorials. However we would probably use silicone as the mold material for so many puppets, as dental alginate doesn't hold up to well for more then a few castings.

Method Two: Flash and AfterEffects

Ed Watkins is the master graphics guru on the team. Check out this short film that he did about the moon, where he used mostly Flash and Aftereffects.
