As an extra video link, check out this famous 'Exploding whale video', which is a 1970's (?) news clip of a dead whale washing up on a beach in Florence, that prompted officials to remove it by packing it with dynamite and sending whale blubber a mile radius of the blast. BTW, this link should be viewed as a good lesson in what not to do in environmental cleanup cases.
