The Taiga or boreal forest covers most of canada and russia. The best places to see the boreal forest are obviously in these two countries. But, they can also be found in northern Sweden, Norway and Finland as well as the northern United States. Here is a list of some unique places to visit the boreal forest.

Boundry Waters Canoe Wildernss Area, Minnesota:This area is a transition zone between deciduous forest and boreal forest. This is the area that we filmed our episode on boreal forests. Its nice because it is accesible only with cones.
