This graph shows how biomes are effected by changes in both annual precipitation and annual average temperatures. A biome is simply a collection of plants and animals. Most biomes are determined by the dominant vegetation. The flora that grows in any place is dependent on the climate. Thus, differences in these two variables affect where the biomes are located around the world.
