Description

This is a dioecious shrub that can grow over 10 feet tall. It does not flower until the late summer or fall, at which time it puts on a great show of small white flowers (some Baccharis species have yellow flowers).

Interesting facts

Baccharis comes from the Greek name Bakkaris given to a plant with a fragrant root and was then recycled by Linnaeus.
