

Golden Glory: Arachis pintoi
This
particular bean was collected on the UH campus. It is an ornamental
bean often used as ground cover. Its attractive yellow flowers which
are present most of the year in hawaii make it a popular plant in
Hawaii.
It is a legume as well which means that they aid the soil in replenishing
nitrogen and other compounds.
