Nyctaginaceae: Four-O'clock Family
This is a relatively small family of mostly tropical to sub-tropical flowering plants. Approximately 300 species are divided into 30 genera. One of the most popular members of this family are the Four-O'clocks (Mirabilis jalapa)
This family includes the famous Bougainvillea, that adorns many sidewalks
and malls, because of its colorful bracts.
