Myrtaceae:

This family contains around 3000 species in about 140 genera. The myrtle family contains the Eucalyptus plants, the guava and the mountain apples. A member has also been recorded as the tallest flowering tree in the world (Eucalyptus regnans). This plant grows in Australia, where there are many different types of Myrtaceaes, many which make up the dominant trees in their respected habitats.
