It is the family of the Mangosteen (Garcinia sp), the Autograph tree (Clusia rosa) and the Kamani tree (Calophyllum inophyllum). Systematics: This family can be remembered by "3's". There are 3 locules, 3 carpels and 3 styles. There are many stamen. Most of the flowers are functionally unisexual. The calyx is decussate (overlapping). The sepals are persistent.
