Phoenicopteriformes

The Flamingos are the only group in the Phoenicopteriformes. These birds are filter feeders who have modified life for feeding upside down! They actually tilt there head to the point where everything is turned around, and their morphology has adapted perfectly to this subsequent lifestyle.
